Tonight we are not in tent, but in the gymnasium at the Calexico Mission School. We are just across the street from the border fence. Lots of people spend hours in line to drive across and shop. Vendors are lined up along the lines playing music and selling snacks. We saw hundreds of school kids leaving school to walk back across the border to their home in Mexicali.
