Getting a talk on agriculture around Yuma. Known as the Salad Bowl of America, 90 -95 percent of the winter fresh vegetables consumed in the US come from this area. Tomorrow we ride through the Imperial Valley. Originally, this area was the Delta for the Colorado River which flowed into the Gulf of California. Today, not a drop reaches the Pacific.
