Today we leave Calexico, CA and ride to Yuma, AZ. This will be the first day that we leave early to beat the heat instead of hanging around waiting for it to warm up. Yesterday was our longest day yet, 63 miles, and today is the same length. We stop for lunch at a kitschy tourist spot dubbed the Center of the World by its owner. Other than that, today is flat, straight roads through the desert.
