A cool, cloudy day in the Texas hill country. Riders arriving at the first sag stop.
Today's ride was fabulous, for the most part. We cycling through hunting preserves that feature "exotic" animals. We saw an elk running along the side if the road after she apparently escaped her pen. The Guadalupe river basin was beautiful. Much of it felt like North Alabama.
The last 10 miles were filled with aggressive drivers, Hugh traffic and high noise. I don't know how a town of 22 thousand can have so much traffic and so many hateful drivers.
Our campsite on the park is lovely.
